With a background in education and entertainment, Kieran can deliver an informative talk about turning litter into art, creating an utterly original idea, and the future of plastics in the ocean.
Talk titles:
What I learned from turning 50,000 pieces of litter and 1,500 shopping lists into art. (watch)
An unusual journey of an unusual art form: What I learned from throwing litter onto a snooker table.
What I learned from collecting 1,500 littered handwritten shopping lists.
“Kieran's lecture was engaging, inspiring, and thought-provoking, offering a fascinating insight into the stories hidden within everyday discarded objects. Through his work with abandoned shopping lists and striking bottle-lid murals, Kieran challenged the audience to see waste, creativity, and community in a completely new light.
His warm and approachable presentation style, combined with his humour, storytelling, and wealth of knowledge, kept the audience captivated throughout. The response from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many describing the talk as excellent, informative, inspiring, and thought-provoking.
We are extremely grateful to Kieran for sharing his work and ideas with us. He left a lasting impression on our audience and helped make the evening a memorable success. It was a genuine pleasure to work with him, and we would be delighted to welcome him back to Medway Libraries in the future.”
