The Stories Behind Our Shopping Lists

In 2022, Kieran came across a lonely shopping list sat crumpled in a trolley. He had questions: Who had authored it? Had its author got all their bits? Why was it left behind?

Before long, whenever he went to any supermarket, he was more bothered about finding these discarded treasure maps than getting whatever food or drink he actually went in to get. Ironically, he could have done with a list. This began his transformation into The Shopping List Guy building a collection of over 1,000 littered lists and turning them into a book, one-man show, and exhibition.

Each has been assigned a serial number (lovingly, there is a list with “breakfast serial”) and the following extracts represent a small selection from the book which you can buy soon.
